Last night was the
Christmas dance, combining the Monday and Wednesday dancers.
Everyone looked gorgeous and the eats were great. The dancing was
just marvelous!
The last few weeks we have
been teaching a lovely waltz on Mondays called A Moment Lost. It’s a
phase 6 but the dancers are mastering the figures. We also taught a
phase 4 waltz on Wednesday to a haunting Celtic tune My Sister & Me.
The dancers are getting comfortable with phase 4 Slow Two Step
routines, so we added routines to Smoke Get’s in Your Eyes and Can’t
Smile Without You. They even did a 15 minute teach on a phase 5
foxtrot Dream a Little Dream of Me.
The Thursday evening class
will resume in January. The regulars are doing a great job with
phase 2 Two Step and Waltz and every evening we add another routine
or two. We may add rumba and cha cha in January. Deb
