The Rumba/Cha Cha class graduated with honors at the
end of May. They had 12 weeks of lessons and learned both rhythms
and many routines. We hope to start back up in Sept, but need to
hear from the school.
The Wednesday evening dancers are burning thru the
phase 4 routines. They learned Dance With Me Darling (phase 4
rumba), Almost Bolero (phase 4 bolero), Alhambra
(phase 4 waltz) and did some short reviews in the last 6 weeks.
On Mondays we are polishing some phase 6 foxtrots
and working on a newer routine The Best is Yet to Come.
Tim & I accepted the job of programming the evening
dancing for a July Convention. Four nights of dancing, 3 halls, and
30 volunteer cuers to sort out. Plus the paperwork for the syllabus
and evening programs. That has kept me out of trouble for the last
few weeks.
