Thank you all for the great support we received from the Las Vegas clubs at our Graduation Dance. We graduated 31 new club members. Now we’re having a fun summer Plus workshop every Tuesday evening.

Our first summer dance was on June 13th, a Trail Thru to the Nationals with Dennis Mineau (St Charles, MO) calling. Great turnout, great dance.

We have decided to try dancing throughout the summer, but only once a month – on the second Saturday’s. Our next dance is on July 11th when we’ll host a Luau Dance with Mike Wilder doing the calling. On August 8th we will be having an Ice Cream Social with Mike calling again.

In addition to our second Saturday dances, we will be having our Second Annual “Picnic in the Hualapai's” on August 2nd from 12 noon till about 4:30 pm. This is a free event, but if you’re planning to attend, please let the club officers know how many people will be attending. We’ll be BBQ’n, eating, and a little bit of dancing (badge opportunities?).

On August 25th Mike & Donna Wilder will be hosting their 3rd annual Final Summer Workshop & Pool Party at their home in Golden Valley. Everyone is invited to join the fun (duck badges anyone?).

Club members are working hard to recruit for our beginners classes starting on September 8th. We’re hoping to have at least as many as last year!

Our “Welcome Back” dance will be held on September 12 (Mike’s calling), and the “Rodeo Days” dance will be on September 26th with Darrell Newell (Havasu Heights) calling.
